August’s Carrier of the Month, Midnite Blues Express, has been a partner of Spot’s since 2019. They have stabilized a very important lane for us and in the process have become a true partner we can count on. Their communication is excellent, and more importantly, their on-time service is phenomenal. They consistently go above and beyond when servicing Spot, and we couldn’t thank them enough! Read on for a Q&A to learn more about Midnite Blues Express and their take on the transportation industry.
Tell us about your founding: Our company was founded in 2016. I became tired of working for larger companies and wanted my drivers to be a part of a team vs. being treated as a number.
What does your company specialize in?: We specialize in dry van, food grade loads. We mainly haul from Ohio to Minnesota.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot?: The Account Manager that we work with is phenomenal! He made it possible for us to expand and grow our fleet.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be?: Better communication between shippers and consignees.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through most and why?: The entire country is beautiful, however, I really enjoy the drive from Ohio to Minnesota.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: The ability to be able to pick up freight and deliver it on time, knowing that we’re making it possible for others to work!
